Jennifer DiPietro was born and raised in Columbia, MD where she trained at local studios and in the HCPSS dance program. She is a recipient of the Linehan Artist Scholarship from UMBC. During her time at UMBC she performed at the American College Dance Festival and attended various summer programs, including a Pilobolus intensive workshop. As an undergraduate student Jen studied under Carol Hess and Doug Hamby, receiving a B.A, in dance with a concentration in education in 2008. Jen has also performed with The First Works Dance Company in Perth, Australia and locally with The Collective, Deviated Theatre, and the Kinetics Professional Dance Company.

Jen has been an educator for over a decade, beginning her career in Baltimore County at Southwest Academy of Performing Arts and Sciences in 2008. In 2010 she was hired by HCPSS to teach dance and heath education at Howard High School.  She is thrilled to be joining the MHHS Dance Department this year as the new Director of Dance.
